Check out the last blitz game I played... To spoil it for you: At the last second when I was bout to checkmate with the queen and rook, I fell of the chair and it pressed on another spot. I was literally 1 move away from winning this game I had long disadvantaged for myself...
Misclicks
I would agree with the OP, but since not everyone does this what's the point? If I misclick my opponent will let me lose 99% of the time, so why shouldn't I win if I get lucky and my opponent misclicks. Misclicks/blunders/disconnects/distractions all even out in the end.
It's your choice my friend... You can take the advantage and win or not take it..
But anyway it goes, isnt that the way of Chess?
"To make opportunities from the mistakes of your opponent"
Well if I misclicked during a game I would just offer a draw and say that I misclicked, but in many cases the opponent takes advantage of this and plays on , in such games just play on and after the game just move on . In one of my games I accidently blundered my Queen and said that I misclicked and just offered a draw but he didn't accept it so I played on and drew. (he was playing quite poorly after my blunder). In many games I have lost but theirs nothing wrong in trying, right.
To prevent from misclicking:
1.Always keep your hands away from the mouse or screen .
2. Only touch the mouse or screen when you are going to play a move for sure and be very careful while doing this.
These might not always work but 60% of the time it does .
Lol @ the amount of absolute tryhards on this thread. I just had a game where i was winning and misclicked costing me the game. It’s not always so easy to click the right space with giant thumbs on a tiny phone. Anyone who thinks that exploiting a misclick tho is an extremely pathetic individual as it has nothing to do with the spirit of chess and everything to do with being lame and desperate for a higher score that you don’t even deserve.
Have you tried getting good?
