I think all the grandmasters today, play "hypermodern" openings. You can google the top players list, pick a name, then pick the hypermodern opening you would like to study. So, google "Levon Aronian- Alekhine's Defence", and you should be able to find some games that Levon Aronian has played with or against Alekhine's defence.
Modern Hypermoderners

Back in the day, anyone who tucked in their bishops was in for a world of hurt.
Nowadays everyone does it.

ha, I enjoy destroying those guys when I play for tactics, however, I am guilty of playing the Alekhine, and the KID

No, the first part " I enjoy destroying those guys when I play for tactics" . What guys? People who play hypermodern openings? (ie. pretty much everybody)

I suddenly feel guilty about my three most favorite openings being the Queen's Gambit, the King's Indian Attack and the Ruy Lopez Exchange Variation. And I also hate the KID for a reason which I cannot specify and cannot understand.
I am doomed to be forever an amateur.

Yes, the only way to play now is to develop your shark-lasers immediately, and then reverse castle to secure an advantage on the g- & h-files.

Don't forget your smart-nukes. They control 64 squares each.

Smart nukes may be in your variation, helltank, but here we adhere to the Mongolian rules of TaliLaserBilliSharkChess, not the overbearing American version.

I like to go old school with my cloaking device and phasers set on stun. (Not enough power for the photon torpedoes, cap'n.)

Pfah! Boby Fisher used smart nukes in an improvised Not not not not not not not a Sicilian Defence when playing his World Championship match against Anatolie Carpov.

Gotta love random Cream references.
Hi, I am interested in studying master games. I have little knowledge of the current or recent master level, and I would like to study the matches of hypermodern/modern specialists, any names would be a great help, thanks.
