How long would it take to scan through the games of the top 10 players to make sure no cheating, sandbagging or poor sportsmanship occured?

If you spend 20 mins per player that's only 3-4 hours of work.

I'd be willing to put in the work myself as a volunteer, just to keep these tournaments running.

Here's one of the most comical ones. Top 7 were banned

So they do check.

LOL that's insane.

no at most you would need a minute or two to spot a sandbagger, plus you are only concerned with the ones that are actually at the top of the tournament and those who actually win, that's just 3 or so guys that u should be checking, the whole thing wouldn't take me 10 mins,

I spectate tournaments a lot and it doesn't take me 20 sec to spot a sandbagger, am using a laptop

I'd assume the prize was taken away because of the sheer amount of cheaters.

Out of the top 25 shown above, 8 have had their accounts closed for Abuse/Fair play

7158 players took part. If we take that the probability of encountering a cheater is 8/25, we can see that 32% of people approximately playing are cheating. 2290 out of the 7158 who played were assumed to be cheating then. That's no joke.

That's a silly assumption, who would cheat themselves a losing position in the tournament?

It's likely that almost all the cheaters are in the top positions.
