Morphy was a bit odd. In about the same sense that Fischer was a bit odd.

hey hey hey.  Morphy was odd.  Fischer was eccentric.  I heard he wanted to retire to Dawson City, Yukon but was afraid of cold bathtubs up there. 

Yes. Morphy was odd....they say. I understand he became a member of IOOF when he was pretty young.

And he was really good at chess too. Alotta ppl don't know that. He could even checkmate someone with a Rook & King against someone's King.

He could do it with only a N and a King...using tactics.  

That makes me wonder if you can ++ someone using (2) Kings & Kn against a lone King. Think so ?

Nope. You can't.....or w/ (2) King's & B against a lone K. I find that philosophically hilarious !

Who needs (2) kings sitting around doing stuff like this....
