Most annoying chess player ever!

This may not be the place to whine and complain about an opponent but this just beats all. I thought I would share with you just how low and annoying some members of the human race can possibly be...even when it comes to a game.

[No Naming & Shaming, please follow forum rules]is the user name of this guy.  Here is what he does:  In every game he plays in, he absolutely refuses to resign a lost game and I don't care if you have 5 queens on the board, he will not resign.  This is not that unusual here on this site because I have found other players like this. However, here is the kicker and what takes him to an all new level of buttwipeness:  If it is a 10 day move game, he waits until the last day to make his move in these lost games. I have been in a game with this guy for months and realized what he was doing and checked his other games. He does it that way against everybody in the lost games. I have already told him how I feel about it and him personally and he has disabled all chats. All I can is "how much of a jerk can one person be?"

What a jerk!

I'd never play anyone who was playing 893 games anyway.

Avatar of SpicyJalapeno

if you really hate him go on his page and post random stuff

There are quite a few people like this around here.
It's an indicator of a not so great personality...

Let the mods worry about policy

I think we are all responsible for a good forum environment and naming like kaynight says isn't good.

he's cool, brah. Get over it all. He is playing and adhering to and within the stipulated parameters of chess.com policy, brah. Stop being a pedant, this persnickeiness is less than ideal and is immensely injurious to your own self-transcendency, brah.

you 2 can take 10 days to move.

Scottrf makes a good point: if a guy is playing 893 games, there is something horribly wrong with him.

Persnickeiness? What's that?

I've had the "I've got a king and they have two rooks, I can still win this..." player in tournaments recently. And on three day/move it is infurtiating. Plus if the round is finished based on the conclusion of my game it's just plain embarrassing. Why people can't resign when it is OBVIOUS tha they have nowhere to go is beyond me. I've had players who are rated 1450 with just a king and against king and two rooks and still they continue. With beginners I could understand. Some people just dont know when they are demolished I suppose.....

lol, actually the "immensely injuriously" was a more salient syntax gaffe in my opinion. But, just like a neophyte chess player who will compromise the structural integrity  of their position for a pawn advantage. Myopia is a vulnerability that must be rectified in order to maximize one's potential, brah.

I believe that should be "syntactic gaffe." Then again, I could be wrong. After all, I didn't know that "persnicketiness" was a word until you pointed it out for me.
