I’m curious what chess book had the most impact on you, not just what was the most instructive on this or that topic. What is the book that you feel made a lasting impression on how you see game?

Chess Master vs. Chess Amateur by Max Euwe. An interesting book showing how strong players explore the mistakes by weak opponents.

Strategy and tactics of chess by Georgiy Lisitsyn

blueemu

Pawn Power in Chess by Kmoch.

My System by Nimzovich would be my #2 pick.

'Play Like a Grandmaster' by Kotov. IMO, better than the original 'Think Like a Grandmaster' because the chapters are organised more logically.
