Most Satisfying Victory?

Hi all,

I just got the most satisfying victory ever. I'll just cut the story short and tell you what happened.

I was playing an opponent rated much higher than me, it was the first of 3 blitz games (Time controls: 2|1). Heres how it went:

After this embarassing defeat, the opponent called me a "scrub", which I found to be quiet insulting. Then he also proceeded to call me a "needless sacrifice master". At this point, the rage inside me was starting to build up a little. I wanted revenge, so bring on game 2:

Another depressing defeat, but I still wanted revenge so I thought I would have one last game. Heres how it went:

This was the most satisfying victory I have ever gotten in chess. After he resigned, he said I got lucky. I was thinking to myself, this guy is such a sore loser. He offered me a rematch but I declined it. So that about wraps up the story.

Thanks for reading! So my question to you my fellow chess players is: What is the most satisfying victory you have ever gotten in chess?

EDIT: He has aplologised to me for his rude behaviour. Respect for that.

In your first two games, you kept saying something like, "a bad move due to time pressure." Maybe you should play a slower time control, so you'll have more time to think, and won't blame your performance on your time. Also, I know you felt good to finally beat someone who kept beating you and calling you names (that has happened to me before) but it is even more satisfying to beat a higher rated opponent with a brilliant combination rather than a simple time-pressure blunder. And a chess.com 1100 is not a very high rated player, I'm afraid to say. Wink
