MOST STUPID RULE : STALEMATE

Keep in mind that is it easy to give a winning position away in pawn endgames or when trying to checkmate with K + Q vs K, where a chess player has to know what he is doing. The better you get in chess, the more you will regard stalemate as an interesting part of the game.
Stalemate is valid for both players. Is the same as when playing OTB you have to move a touched figure, even if this means losing the game. This is not unfair, only the rule of the game, valid for both players.
Try to find some stalemate tactics to see how you can save your skin by scarifying material and you will begin to change your attitude.

A bad workman blames his tools. Also what's ola?

Avia, I know what do you feel, but consider this: if you are losing and your opponent is careless and allow you to make a nice combination which ends with stalemate, then this means that your opponent probably did not play well.

But still.... It causes a lot of trouble
White to move (you are white)

Avila, check this game in the forum and you will see a nice ending fight, where my opponent did everything possible to get a stalemate in a lost position. Several times I had to think a little longer to avoid the stalemate. Without the stalemate, the game would be less interesting. It is just a further component of the game, and we have not only to accept it but use it to our advantage, as my opponent tried to do. Check the game and tell me what do you think. Copy paste the words below and search the game in the forum:
Matting with K, B and N ... but still with two pawns each!

Lame rule. Like being up in football 24-7 but they call it a tie... Just my opinion ..that and 4 bucks gets you a coffee at Starbucks

Ola is a gesture of amazemrnt {usually shock}
Hola's hello in Spanish. Perhaps you meant 'voila' in french meaning here/there.
