So log out and go play over the board.
mouse mistakes and real time vs. computer time.
its sad that someone as lame and ignorant as u would say something as empty as that. I do and i quit playing for awhile when my good friend whom i played with almost daily died. I play at edgewater park sometimes. I take it u ovioulsy dissagree and thats sad. You must be a young kid. If you don't have anything positive to say then ask yourself why? I was just writing down how i feel about chess. If your man enuff to challenge me then lets play a few and see what u know if anything.

You're complaining about online chess on an online chess website. Is it any wonder I have little time for it?
Why is up to you to tell someone to play over the board if they want to play online?
To me chess is a live and in person game. It's a ritual of two minds waging a war of wits and philosophies, pawn pirates pillaging the spoils of a premature attack or perhaps the untrained tacticle eyes percieving mirrages thus leaving us plunderers of blunder. Chess is forms a bond between the two wise wit warriors and the positivity that generates from the center of the four squares of the 64 total is similar to an atom being split and then the splits split . There is a certain kung fu type of grace one develops with the movement of pieces and would never make a mistake of placing a piece short of the true destination intended, as with the mouse. I play 5 min blitz chess and i'm so much faster in person than on a computer. It's not meant to be played this way. It's cool to play and learn but people need to get out and form some groups to play once a week on a certain day and time. I have a few very good friends that i have made over the years by playing chess.
Most of all is all the trash talk which is all in good sportsmanship, tho some can't take the heat of the agony of defeat, while the lifetime chess nemisis basks in the thrill of victory.
Its also sad that when a mouse drops a piece short of where you ment for it to go, they refuse a take back. There is no honor or pride in a victory won with fairness and honesty but blinded by the number ranking one loses focus on integrity and other goddly qualities.
