Move intuition

When I play, I do plan ahead, but my brain doesn't always like it when it gets too complicated.

I have however noticed that sometimes a random move appeals to me out of nowhere and I get the feeling that although I cant see why, it is possibly a good move that will lead to something further down the line. Often these moves might just be a simple pawn move when its the least likely thing you would expect me to do given the situation.

I get the feeling that subconsciously my brain is seeing something further ahead and I am just not realising it at the time. Does anyone else get this? I think the best word to describe it is intuition.

Sometimes these moves turn out to be garbage and don't lead to anything, but they seem to work out more often then not and can lead to some nice attacks.

These moves really confuse opponents as well I think. They take ages to respond even though I left an obvious mover for them to make., I guess they suspect its a trap or something. But no, IDK why either, its just my guts says to do it. I probably look like a robot at times.
