I have gone multiple days with my blitz rating going down. Just got sent (likely forever) out of quadruple digits.

Idk how to end this. I kinda hate myself becoming horrible.

Change things up a bit maybe? Try a different time control for a while. Try daily chess. Maybe learn a new opening.

Update: got blitz rating up for ONE DAY, and then the slump continued. I’m definitely washed. Case closed.

Take a break from blitz till you reach rapid 1200.

I’m in a slump. I only play bots and do puzzles, but I can tell when I am struggling. My advice is to make a list of fundamentals like, look for checks, captures, threats in that order. Watch some YouTube like Levy or Anna. I start playing better after a day or so.
