I typically listen to music when playing chess and I hit my peaks when I’m playing music while playing chess. Does anyone else listen to music when they play chess?

Depends on the time control. When playing shorter games like 10min, I like to listen to some of my favorite bands. When playing classic time control, like 10 or 30, I like to play in total silence and consentrate on the game.
I typically play games 10 minute and under and I think that music can distract me it can also help me focus

I do find listening to chess podcast while solving puzzle quite a wonderful experience
I’ve discovered if I play a game and listen to euphoria I typically perform much better
I enjoy listing to rap. Every beat is a movement. And piece. A check.
