Phewww guess people out here have no idea about what i am saying:-)
Music with Chess

If you're playing a girl it might be ok but the dudes need to keep their mind on winning at all costs, so careful there!

I play this when I am playing blitz, or a simul against multiple low rated opponents...
It energizes me and unnerves my opponents. It also helps if you casually toss their pieces over your shoulder as you capture them ;)...but I only do that against a-holes (with plastic pieces, and a soft landing).

Och. There are people here. And the piece 'sweat' is not my type. Hmmm it will really suit in gym where mosters work out.

...and your avatar has creepy spider fingers, but you didn't hear me complaining.
If you post an open-ended subject line like "music with chess", you take what you get. Look at it this way, if you weren't using a female anime avatar, you'd have gotten roasted like beef in a convection oven for the idea of taking an iPod to a tourney and humming along during your games ;)...
Luckily for you, chess.com users are suckers for any female avatar, so they are being nice and hoping to ingratiate themselves with any possible female. This gives you a lot of leeway for posting opinions/ideas that would get you in trouble otherwise.

its rude to be acting like that in a true tournament. Unfortunately you have to shut up and play chess.
I have a habit of putting on my earpiece whenever i move pieces over the board, i always make sure that my ipod is packed with selected melodies in an order i want it to listen. Now the problem is that whenever i am not listening music, i start to sing and it really irritates my friends(opponent) not all. Is it allowed to take ipod with you in rated tourney or sing slowly or just huming?.
