Most of these puzzles r very obvious..since I am on my phone and I can't I will post one that happened in one of my OTB games..its pretty neat..sad thing is when u nearly got the puzzle correct in your mind but u mix up 2 moves..I hate that
My favourite puzzle

Howver it takes 5 min to solve.
This is what I hate. These complicated many moves bullendproducts.
In a good tactics problem you have to spot a simple yet not immediately evident feature of the position. This is the kind of problem I like.
If you start the puzzle after 3...Kf7 it's much easier. After you can solve this kind of puzzle easily the next step is a puzzle that asks you to see this forced future position where a "simple" tactic is possible.
In even harder puzzles, there are multiple moves for the opponent, each leading to a "simple" solution, and the challenge is to visualize them accurately.
Afterall... in real games the tactics aren't always simple.

May be you don't remember the position correctly since the one you posted is heavily losing for white without any tactical shot to save it. The problem is that the rook on e2 is attacked twice (once directly and once indirectly) so if you take the knight then instead of recapturing black can take it with the queen:

i cant remenber but it was something like that. i think i might have had my queen around there on e1..

This is a problem which only the very low rated and the very high rated can solve easily. This is because the solution is very obvious and very difficult at the same time. The low rated can solve it because they tend make the most obvious move and high rated can because they see the essence of the position. For the average trainees this is a difficult problem because they know enough to fear the obvious but know little to notice this kind of pattern ( the problem is rated 2280 currently ).
