My first blindfold game

I have started playing chess 6 month ago, yesterday i tried to play my first blindfold chess with good results, here is the game... the other player was weak, but he could saw the board.

that is amazing that you  could do that.  how long are you playing? i cant even get a damn game right w/ sight lol.   That other guy was awful. the pawn march he allowed was laughable.

in otb chess i m 1420 here i don t play too much

im 2007 uscf and the longest ive played blindfold is 72 moves so for your rating your good. although im only 14 :)

Yes but now i'm about 1700 elo strong and not longer able to play a blindfold game ahah

Sometimes, driving to work or between clients, I find myself contemplating or planning moves in existing games, often from early on, in the opening stages. I will be doing that without a board in front of me. My ability to see the board like that, comes and goes, just like my tactical ability. I wish I had time to close my eyes and meditate over positions.

I ordinarily dont even have time for an eyes uncovered game in person but, I was trying to imagine playing blindfold, correspondence style. It seems you'd need a intermediary to make your move for you, which I think is technically against the rules. :(

The game was really close for the first 20 moves.

Congratuations.  I think that finishing a complete game, blindfolded, is a marvelous achievement for anyone!

I would love to be able to do it.
