If your elo is lower than 500, you're not even trying. Anyone who at least puts in a little effort should be able to reach 800 at the very least, even if it takes a while. Clearly, that effort is not there.
I've been told that I should be rated way higher than I am, but...well, obviously I'm not. Unless you believe that Lichess ratings (mine sticks around 1600) is only a few hundred points higher than this website. If that were the case, One could argue I should technically be around 1200-1400. But I don't exactly follow that stuff, so I can't say for certain.

Even if you feel stronger than 1000, your results determine your rating—not just how you feel about your skill level.
I say this with 100% certainty, my rapid elo should be 1000, I could easily beat any 1000 and if u want to challenge me feel free. I don't know why Chess.com's rating system is so messed up!
