Why do people think My System is advanced? Any class player can learn a lot from it and if they feel like they missed a lot they can read it again. I think Silman just wants sales. His work is oversimplified and Nimzowitsch was a better player and theoretician by far.

who is that prolific chess author of our modern era's name..oh i know Dvoretzky? He says he was a class player until he read My System carefully over the period of one year before he became a master. i leave it up to you to decide or fact check this fact! grandmaster chess books are junk. they dont tell you the secrets nimzo so freely gives away like a scab magician!

I believe my system is a classic but it is outdated. There's a lot of better books out there than my system.
