My Tips on improving your results with online chess

Though my chess.com rating is only at present just over 1500 i do have a over the board rating of 1748 have been playing chess since I was 14 and are now 68 and still love the game, my tips for helping to improve your results are as follows: 1.) use your Analysis board, few players do and if you have a lot of games going get in the habit of playing back over your last 3 or so moves to remind you of your plan and how your opponents last move may effect any plans you had! 2.) Openings: stick with solid choice openings maybe no more than 3 for white and couple for black, swapping and testing out new openings like the weather will not help your positional game or improve or your understanding. 3.) study tactics white or black to play and win positions, without a good tactical understanding it's hard to progress!
