Naka owns Anand?

Naka most of the times wins against Anand. What is the reason of such a lopsided result?

Sometimes players play much better or worse against certain opposition. Could be a matter of style or something more mental. It is kind of like how Nakamura has trouble with Carlsen .

Agree. All psychological.

Anand seemed to walk right into Naka's opening prep. Great win by Hikaru. Pretty much flawless playing, too.

Anand, to me, seems more comfortable wrestling for advantages in the middle/endgame. Naka tends to unbalance things much earlier. Might be why Anand has trouble with Hikaru.

simple, naka just blows him away. he has yet to master the phenomenon of inertia. his thinking goes "I lose to Carlsen but i win against Anand". and for guys, it's very important to be right about what you think.
