hey guys i am haveing a little trouble here on figuring out where to go.

I know all the tactics like forks pins scewers defection and so on

however I have a serious problem tying to set up for those moves. If I atack and get to pull off a good move its mostly due to the oppone not seeing it and I kind of fall into it.

I also know the basic 5 moves in a few opening lines such as 4 knights, Spanish game, KID, Queens gambit aceppted and declined and my favorites English open the nimzo indian but more importantly I understand the pricipals.I normaly come out of the oppening in great position but screw up the middle game

Howeve I struggle in he middle game since I can find ways to luer the opponet in and gain he upper hand. I understand imbaences in material, development space and time I just cant get a line.

Right now my strategy basicly consists of me trying not to blunder and hoping my opponet does which which leads to very inconsistant play especialy in blitz.

i am in he 1300s in online play

600s in blitz

this is becaus when I am playing online I have the time to calculate every possible move in 10 min games I cant and often blunder or miss oportunities.

My question is what should I study to learn how to develop plans and set up my moves I can pull of tactics if it takes one or two moves but the chances of being able to do that are few and far beween.I want to learn to set up a tactic 4 or 5 moves ahead of time and make it where the opponet doesnt have much of a choice.

as a dimond member I have a great deal I can study what videos should I watch and what are good books to read and wha should I use in the chess mentor.

I think your goals are a bit ambitious.  Your tactics trainer score is so low that you must be having problems with seeing the whole board at once.  If the timer bothers you then set it to unrated and a fairly low range.  Generally tactics come from superior position.  There are some traps associated with certain openings but that's really not what you should be looking for at your level.  Lots of wonderful little 10 to 20 lesson courses on the chess mentor.  Start with the beginner courses on tactics, openings, endgames, and strategy and work your way up.  Don't just do the CM courses once; after a week or 2 go back and review the course. I'm old and not the brightest bulb on the tree so you may not need to review as much as I do but there are any number of courses that I've done over a dozen times. They're really a little too advanced for you but take a look at IM Danny Rensch's Live Session videos to get an idea of how a titled player evaluates a position and chooses candidate moves.  Good luck with your chess.

Do a crap ton of Tactics Trainer.  Eventually you'll just "see" them in your games and you can do it much faster than you can currently.
