So as the title says What is it compared to normal rated games ? Any difference or just games where it's all recorded and put in a table ?

You have to wear a gay kilt. Is that ok?

A tournament on chess.com is like any other game, except you play with a clock and have to make your moves in a specific time limit. Then you move onto several rounds depending on the tournament.

I think they still count toward/against your rating. not sure if they make unrated ones.

You are probably talking about "live" tournaments vs. "daily" tournaments, given that you don't have  a daily rating.  I only have experience with daily tournaments.

In daily tournaments, one difference is you play each opponent in your group as both black and white.

If you place high enough in the group, you advance to the next round of the tournament (if any).

Tournament directors can create unrated daily tournaments if they like.
