Ng5 attack?

So...i am for about 2 months on chess.com and there seems to be quite a few bunch (most of them) trying on any opening i throw at them some sort of Ng5 attack.

Can someone with more time on this site explain,maybe,this concept? it is an attack but i don't get why out of all hundreds of moves in the opening this site choses this attack like being the best.

Also,seeing from my winning rate,i dont see that being much useful for those who use it apart from other openings.

i didn't realise this was a chess openings topic because i wanted to know something about the logic behind some moves. my mistake, i guess. 

Thanks for all replies. sorry for being vague but not being a premium member i cannot use games explorer to give some meaningful examples. 

leaving the site policy behind, i wanted to say that i don't get the perspective of peoples' on this site idea that threatening Ng5 is good while they let their guard down on the queenside and Ng5 is easy to parry. 

The mainline from which i get the Ng5 move or the threat now (as i said, i parry it now) is 1. e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 and from this move i already know what they plan and i just move Be7 and the game continues normally. 

To sum up, i don't get it why so many players want this line from all amazing openings. Maybe some players fell for this attack or fried liver attack which is nice.

If you look on YouTube, there is a video on a knight to G5 trap that many people use.

i meant to search MY games. there is that option

i have aprox 1500 active daily games. cannot find certain games  

 1500 games is insane!

This one scares me the most out of all of them
