You have another option available to you in the form of blocking the user who's harassing you.  There's no need to retaliate, so yes, it's prohibited.  Block the user and report abuse if it's egregious enough that you feel retaliation is in order.

Also this particular a-hole had somehow joined the group that she had created - and then started with the b/s - and apparently he already got previous for this kind of anti-social bahaviour - gimme 5 mins with him , I'll teach him some manners

kohai, I have now received three messages from Isaac Drum from Washington exalting in his glee about the successful outcome of his project - I AM gonna make this public, because the excuse for a stat_man likes to send private messages and then whack in a block so that no dialogue is possible.
