numbers of players online

I can see 2 different records of players online, one is from the page where it shows the numbers of players who registered, players online and titled players online and the other record is from the chat screen before u matchmake in the live matches. The former page is showing a much higher number of players online, does anyone knows which is the accurate record of players online??

Does seem abit contradicting. Main page is showing number of players online as 70+k players, chat page is showing 30+k players online
