one serious hypothetical question

I have recently started following big chess event seriously. I followed  London candidate tournament and Norway super chess, especially Vishy Anand's matches.

I was in awe of how much close Anand was to Houdini or other chess engines in first 3 matches.  No, I am not suspecting any cheating at all. It was just a amazing and perfect display of chess from him.

My hypothetical question is if somebody is a genius( say like Anand or Carlsen) in chess but he never played tournaments and is just an amature player who recently started playing chess on chess.com.

How soon and at what rating, chess.com will ban him?

I am not going into depth but I believe in its cheating detection methods, CC uses statistical factors ( proximity to chess engine moves, skewness etc), human factors as  well as other evidences such as winning streak, winning against much higher opponant etc.

So I was wondering at how quickly and at what rating CC will ban that player?

I believed that if Anand was not a professional chess player but a chess genius who is still unrated and plays chess just for fun on CC, he would have been banned immediately.

I hope you guys will get what I am trying to say.

Many Likhit.

Atleast in India where chess is not that systematized. I tell you in my state 80% of people who play chess doesn't know how to get FIDE rating and they don't what exactly are the career prospects in chess. There are not chess schools.

They just know how to use their analytical abilities.

I asked that question cause at cheating forums there are so many statements like 'he is definitely a cheater cause his winning streak is so amazing' or 'his moves have proximity with chess engines'.

So I was just wondering.

One can only get so far with natural talent only.

:) Disagree.

Watch Carlsen's games or early chess legends who did it on their brain power only.

Or suppose Anand joined this website anonymously -- would he be banned for cheating?

I doubt it.

Exactly Joe! would he be banned?

The way he played in first 3 matches at Norway I am sure he would be.
