So I’m not really allowed to play “video games”, but I’m allowed to play pretty much as much online chess as I desire. So where’s the difference and why do my parents allow one but not the other? As far as I’m concerned, it seems that the pieces moving on a screen is a ‘video’ and chess is a ‘game’.
