OPG(Other Peoples Games)

I'm not sure if this subject has come up before.  That being using the Comments on another players game.

For instance, I have a lower rated friend who wants my advice/comments on his Online games.  I'm glad to give it; for what it's worth.  But I also, on occassion, post comments to games of other friends that don't request same.  Sometimes I even post comments on moves to people I don't know at all.  My hope is that in the post game analysis (since such comments can't be read until the game is over) my comments may help the player(s) see something they overlooked.

So, first question... Have you ever used the Comment on OPG?  2nd question.  If so, then do you limit it to your Friends?

Dude i would really appreciate it if youd be commenting on my games. And to answer your question, No i havent done it yet.

Yes, I could probably help you one on one.  But what I'm trying to say here is that I think the Comment option in Online Games (it's benefit in Blitz, etc would be marginal to say the least) is vastly under-used.  Vote Chess is an opportunity for Team Members to talk things out before making a move.  The Comments option in Online is a part of analysis that benefits one after the game and helps before the next game.

Are you telling osmeone what to do while the game is on going?

No.  The comments can't be read until the game is over.

Would you get a notification if someone left a comment?

I have far over 6000 online games, and never had 1, lol

After the game, it should show that you have a new comment to read.

What value could a much weaker player's advice really be worth to you?
