Opinons on a tiny tweak of standard chess

  I was playing around with positions.  I re-arranged the black pieces so that both bishops were queen side and both knights were king side.  It seems to produce a situation where black has an advantage approximately equal to half the advantage white has in classical chess or maybe a bit less.  I don't currently know how to test this more thoroughly, which by definition means that I do not know what I am talking about.  Is there a way I can test this idea more thoroughly with other software?  My testing is clunky and manual right now,  I believe this is interesting because it seems to create a situation where no one is playing for a draw and black is actually the attacker.
