as a paying member why do i have kylie manogue blasted in my ears when i try to watch a calming chess video. i cannot parden that blunder.

hahaha.  I am gold member so no videos and no Kylie Manogue either.  I am relieved.

Try adblock which stops that. The ads come from livestream, we all see them :(
