I lose a lot of blitz due to some kind of technical issue. The first time it happened I reinstalled the app and that took care of it. Wish I had figured that out before losing 200 points! I work my way back to 1370, about where I was at before then BOOM, last couple days been having issues again. Don't know what's causing it I always have good signal and I've had no issues on other sites.... I never for one second got some crazy idea that some putz was hacking my phone causing my issue. Really??? Anybody who comes up with crap like this is smokin way better stuff than what I got.
People here DO cheat
Biotk, you blabbermouth, you just blew the secret of the Great Canadian Chess Hack!
(Seriously, your hilarious comment made me laugh very loudly just now. But I really hope that the original poster was being cute and humourous (Canadian spelling) rather than just paranoid and completely unrealistic.)

"Is it possible for someone, anyone, to hack into your system? That's all I'm saying."
Look, I wasn't joking. IFF he has the ability to hack and IFF he can actually do this to your computer while playing, why wait until he's losing to do this?

Either there is some paranormal sh!t happening here or you just don't have the internet speed to play a chess game

Sometimes I have lost games in blitz with chess.com completely lagging and the game gets abandoned. It's so frustrating.
This has a very tenuous link with cheating. Can anyone (with experience of first playing for free and then paying for membership) tell me if switching to paid membership results in a much improved service in terms of the elimination of the many frustrating glitches which result in one's being unable to continue playing.

Them damn Canucks. Bad enough they keep sending us cold weather, but now they're messing with chess? John Candy was right, let's invade 'em!
I think the US should declare war on Canada. After all we cannot allow them to continue sending us cold weather and cheating on us in chess. Anyway, the way things are going in wars that the US has been involved in over the past few years, the US will probably lose. And that would be a good thing because if Canada takes over the US they will have to provide us with their great socialized medicine program and then us Americans will be able to get some decent medical care!

It has nothing to do with a bad connection.
I had one Canadian guy, and he was losing, kept turning my board to blk & white and blinking the board, in and out, till I couldn't see what was going on at all and my clock fell.
It's silly. Win at all costs? Why play here then?

After a system shut-down one day playing a rude opponent that stalled the game until the system shut-down, I was given a one week trial on diamond membership. There really isn't much of a difference between playing on the premium and playing as a non-paid member. I do have some games recently where I suffer incredible lag and lose on time as a result, however, this is due to the fact that my own computer needed a re-boot. After the re-boot, no lags.

I have been a free member, and now a paid member, and have noticed no difference.
Ah, the ole turning the opponent's board to black and white and blinking the board trick. It is a Canadian tradition.
