ForgetFischerrandom chess. here is the new chess game especially for players of very different abilities but all can play.
take a normal chess board and chess starting position. get a d6 dice. roll it. 1=pawn, 2=knight, 3=bishop, 4 = rook, 5 = Q, 6=K. you MUST play that piece.
you then have two variants depending on the degree of chaos you want
1) a lot of chaos: if the move is illegal/impossible you roll again till a legal move is possible
2) slightly less chaos: if the move is illegal/impossible you choose your move as normal.
this game is also good if you involve alcohol.
