3...e5 is not a Pirc; it's the Philidor Lion. I don't know about later ...e5s as I play the Austrian Attack, but against the Lion I play the following line, which is very fun for White:
Otherwise, you can play more quietly with standard development (Nf3, Bc4, 0-0 etc.) with a small edge as Black is a bit cramped, or go for the endgame with 4.dxe5 which theory believes is equal, but White's position is a bit easier to play.

oh..but i hate such semi-closed positions with blocked centres so it seems i should just develop and take on e5
To get good at chess, you have to learn to play all diferent kind of positions that can happen, not just the ones that you like.
(That's like pracicing anything, music or sports or work: the part that you don't like to practice is the part that you need to work on the most to get better)
I agree with the other commenters, in the second diagram don't exchange *or* advance on move 5. White is able to recapture on d4 if black decides to capture. You can play 5. Bc4 instead of dxe5 (I think - maybe not, if that's bad anyone please feel to say it's wrong)
In the first diagram of the thread, 8. d5 looks bad for several reasons: it block's white's B on c4, black can counter it later with c7-c6, and black already has the King's Indian formation where they want white to overextend and then black moves the Nf6 and does f7-f5. The white P can't stay on d4 either, in that specific position, because the N on f3 is already pinned and white doesn't have time to try 7. h3? Bxf3 and black gets 8...exd4, so white should 7. dxe5 then after 7...dxe5, the white Q is already off of the d file, and white can develop the c1 B to g5 and put one R or the other on d1 lined up on black's Q. Looks bad for black already, not losing, but uncomfortable! The Bg7 is blocked from most of the long diagonal by black's P on e5, even though it does help defend black's king - that part looks solid.....

Which variation are you talking about? If you want aggressive lines vs the Pirc, learn either the Austrian Attack with 4.f4 or the 150 Attack with 4.f3 and Be3, Qd2, 0-0-0, h4 etc. There's not really going to be any hyper-aggressive lines with standard development (Nf3, Bc4 etc.).
There's nothing more aggressive than 5.g4 against the Lion with 3...e5, although you could try a line with Nge2, h3, g4 etc which is another option. Against 3...Nbd7 (intending 4...e5) there's 4.g4 and 4.f4, both of which are quite aggressive and unpleasant to play against.
