Play Magnus app

I saw the review in chess.com

I have an android tablet, but I cannot find such app.

Is anybody with tablet having the same problem?

It's not available on older versions of Android. I can get it either. :(

My tablet says: "your system is currently up to date, OS Android 4.1.1"

So I don't have any idea if the problem is the tablet, or if the app was released only for android phones.

I think the current version of Android is 5.0 (Lollipop).

The android phone of a friend has android 4.4.2 and he has Play Magnus, but I don't on the tablet.

And from what I understood Lollipop doesn't run on every phone, but just the last generations.

I'm sorry Cindy2014,I don't really know for sure: maybe you need a very slightly newer version than you have: something closer to, or actually 4.4.2?

yes, I went to the page, using the tablet. And when I tried to install it came out a warning with: "Your device isn't compatible with this version" and above was written: "designed for phones."

I don't understand why it would work on an android phone, but not on a tablet, however it seems the app is quite poorly designed if this is the case.

Maybe they did it in this way, to sell the info of data on the phones.

Pocket Patzer is a good alternative.

It works on Commodore 64's, Coleco Vision and Atari 400.

i have it on my phone and tablet galaxy s4's both

the graphics doo seem to be better on my coleco vision though. atari 400 is a close 2nd

Knight380 is right about Shredder Chess, it is excellent, although it does, just occasionally, just crash. But mostly it's excellent.
