Ziryab, did you say that JPtheK9 is a cheater?

No. I said that people who drag out their games are often paranoid orifices.

Time is a potentially deciding element and each player is entitled to using their time as they see fit.  I've had daily play-the-out-to-checkmate games that officially ended a week or more after the game was hopeless for my opponent: like Q + R vs B and clearly no positional tricks available. Maybe because I'm 66 my opponent hoped I'd die of old age before reaching checkmate.  If I let it bother me, maybe he would!  But, that's his right and who knows, maybe I'll confuse the move order, etc. and blunder away the win.

Earlier today, I made someone play longer than necessary, in an unrated game. It took me a while to find the resign button (Blushie Face). And, I had chat turned off so I wasn't able to apologize.

When is was playing OTB tournaments, I sometimes would miss the first 20 or 30 minutes of a round for whatever reasons. Usually, lunch or traffic. Haven't played OTB tournamnet sin 8 years. Wonder if my 1337 OTB would jump to 1537 at least...
