Playing black openings as white

I personally love some black openings that I think are playable for white. If black can play it, then why can't white do it? Sometimes this can be really good, but using the Semi-slav as white is considered passive.

Yes, it's a good way to get equality as white. However, it's not such a big achievment.

In general, you can play pretty much everything "sound" as white, or black, if you understand the positions that result. And this is certainly not a matter of the opening picked, but rather of your overall chessic knowledge and positional understnding.

It's solid but I think it's too passive, you should play for the win as white because you have the first move.
