playing humans has a unique feel

I've played Chess for 52 years and have never studied or trained or took one coarse. However playing that long teaches you how humans play. I do well against most humans. However bots and the engines that the miss behaviors use to win unfairly ; have a feel all there own. Does anyone remember when Elon Musk took over Twitter ; and how he found so many accounts were bots. those bots giving to illusion of big support group's who aligned politically. I do not think Twitter was alone in casting illusions of big numbers of human participants. I really feel that only a small percentage of all my interactions here are with actual people. Maybe we aren't being cheated as much as it seems. We are possibly just playing bots most of the time here.

That's what a bot would say...

Well I believe there are many who understand what I'm saying. Often when playing bots there moves seem perfect for a good while ; then all at once there is a mistake that is uncharacteristic to all their other moves and you finally get an advantage.

It's my belief that a mediocre player will drop clues all along the way that they are human.

But when someone with a mediocre rating can not play like a engine from beginning to end consistently. its when that happens ; that it feels like somethings fishy.

And lately I feel like 3 out of every 5 games I play has taken place in a fish factory. 😂

But the defining behavior of humans is inconsistency, and the lower your rating the less consistent you are (in basically everything). It's completely normal for people to play decently, and then suddenly drop a piece or something (especially in online chess)

And of course a mediocre player cannot play like an engine from start to finish, so why are you surprised when they mess up?

Furthermore, I do not know if you review all your games with the computer, but whenever I review mine, I find out quite frequently that sometimes a move I thought was shockingly good was, in fact, either a mediocre move or simply not good at all.

Finally, I cannot claim to have 50 years of experience, but I do have 15 years; I trust that this is not an insignificant length of time either, and I have been on this site for almost 7 years with 20,000 games played, and I've never really felt like anything was fishy or odd. Usually when I feel that way, it turns out my opponent was cheating, which isn't often.
