Pointers before FIDE tournament

i am an average  unrated chess player and would be participating in the FIDE below 1600 chess tournament on the 16th.....my rating is around 1322 on the website and there have been times when "luckily" , i had outsmarted those that had been rated more than me.

But, recently had noticed a drop in my plays, somehow i can't seem to put my finger on it, it feels like i can notice a checkmate pattern and once when i get involved with it, well, i lose and horribly at that.

I want to to know what i can do about this before the tournament, because i believe if i were to play in my current condition, it would be futile to even think of beating a rated player.

Please, give me a few pointers before the tournament, about how i should play from now on till the destined date. I do not expect a win against all the rated players, but just the acknowledgement that I am not their everydays third rated player.
