Positional or Tactical?

During my playing chess, two terms seem to have been doing at me. Positional. And Tactical. After researching these a little, I came to a small understanding of each. Positional players slowly build up and attack opponents weaknesses, whereas tactical players gambit and sacrifice material for a resulting mate. Now, I understand that great chess players can do both, but I think the greatest positional player would be either Karpov, Petrosian, Capablanca or Botvinnik. On the other hand, the greatest tactical player would be either Tal, Kasparov, Alekhine or perhaps even Morphy ( but his opponents weren't exactly the strongest) Now, imagine all the positional players were a team, and all tactical players were a team, who would win?

Not only who would win, but who would be board 1, who would be team captain, etc!

And let's say this possible.
