Should a beta tester looking for bugs in a chess engine using  a Pre-move in live chess to evaluate the engine.

Fair enough! When I went into this subject I was not fully understanding the concept of the premove-however, some do feel that winning games on time is not a reliable indication of how well a beta tested engine preforms. My question is, would using premove against an engine that is being beta tested give accurate results of how that engine is performing?

I see now, thanks. I think the beta testing would be accurate with premove.
