premoves getting interrupted

so when ever i try to do premoves and my opponent does a move meanwhile, they kinda reset? it just cancels my premoves which sometimes even make me lose a game.. this is pretty frustrating..  and its not like his moves are contradicting my movement, they are not relevant at all.. anyone know what to do? 

For example?

i try to move a piece, but before i complete the premove, it just gets cancelled and i have to press on the piece again to premove it

If you're in the process of making a premove when the opponent's move comes in, I can see that happening, since the code has to update the board with the correct position and your premove hasn't been entered yet.
