programs

I havenever posted here before today, but find myself curious. In the past, as a player who lives in the 1300s, I have assumed that my opponents could not be using programs, or they would have a much higher rating. I have always assumed that those sort of accusations were from ill tempered losers.

I only play 5 min per player blitz, as I can't think any faster than that, and previously also thought that such a game was fast enough to rule out good help from a program.

I just went on quite a losing streak, and noticed some novel responses (to me) to my openings that got repeated. I feel like the speed and acumen of these moves was unusual at my level, and so I am asking, WHAT IS THE PREVALENCE OF PROGRAM USE BY PLAYERS ON THIS SITE?

I can accept that i am playing badly, especially since I am a mediiocre player, who rellay does not understand much strategy, and have no use for tirades. I use chess as mental exercise. I am just wondering now, who I am playing, another fellow low level player, or their program?

You now...lock.  Its what happens when you post something youre not supposed to.  You know...like accusations of cheating.  Its in that Terms Of Service you read when you joined.

I haven't accused anyone of anything, just asked a question. I am specifically trying not to offend. It would be nice to have an informed answer about whether this happens. I am not capable of using a program, and my casual play is not about a rating.
