Promoting a pawn

I was well ahead and had multiple chances topromote a pawn. Each time I attempted to do so, the promotion options were presented but I could not mnove the mouse to click on ANY of the options before the options would go away. I had no chance to promote any of 3 pawns.

This means your hard drive is fried :( Gotta get a new PC, dude.

I have been with conmputers since the late 1970's  If what I say makes no sense, you are not re4ading what I wrote.

This is an ongoing issue and there is no solve as of yet. I am running the latest Mac Op system as well as the newest Firefox and Norton. This is real.
