Psychology in chess.

How important do you think the psychological aspect is in chess?, for example, not tilting or letting your emotions ruin your play.

For some, like alot (talking from experience). But for others its quite less. Just like with every problems in life some people handle it it better than others.

I tend to agree, I also think psychology can be improved. I know for a fact that as my rating has gotten better I have Been able to deal with pressure much better.

Yeah i usally blunder or play way worse when i hear the sound from the clock warning me that im running really low on time

I dread for when that happens, I have been chilling in a game I am winning; suddenly I hear the warning from the clock and go crazy.
