Puzzle journey

Is this really the best way to achieve prestieges and higher tiers - just dropping all the elo and climbing up again with massive streaks?

I have been slowly going up, but my statistics are around 50% correct / incorrect. So almost no streaks, at most around 5. With this the journey is super slow, even with thousands of puzzles solved. Does anybody have a better solution than just throwing elo completely down?

When the feature was first released, I went through around 25,000 puzzles in a few months and prestiged in that process. The second time around rook longer (timewise) and was harder, but I was less motivated at the time with the decreased progression; the first time through felt faster.

But a 50/50 split, or close to it is likely even on regular rated puzzles unless you really try to keep your solve rate high.

I find Puzzle Journey to be distracting and counterproductive for learning so I just want to get through it quickly as possible. So when I feel my progress slows down I just drop my puzzle ELO and go through it with streaks. Once I complete it once through I plan on completely ignoring it (it can stay on I guess)
