question about time lag

Hello, for the past few days i have a problem with time bug. For exemple, i play a move and than the opponents time starts ticking. Afther some time ( 20 seconds, 15, 30…) his clock stops and i see his move and now my time starts ticking. But, actually, he played after couple seconds and than my time started ticking but i dont see that. Like my screen got froze but i saw his time ticking. Afther his move my time got for 20 seconds down and i see that he lost just couple seconds. I have lost a lot of matches because of this, i checked and it is not because internet connection. It is just bug on chess app.
Shortly. I see that oponnents time is ticking and when it reaches the end i see that i lost because i run out of time… it happend a lot in the past week. And it is not internet connection, i checked that.
Btw chat bot for support are not helping, can you help me please with this?

There is no solution as far as I know. I have the same issue. Started few days ago and I lost many games because of that. I think somebody said that happens only in IOS devices

Same happened to me multiple times just today. I have full bars and shouldn’t be getting lagged. I’ll be sitting there pre moved waiting and his clock runs out… but then I lost because my clock ran out… it’s pretty annoying 🥴

I may have found a solution for this issue on my IOs device. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and since then there is no time lag. You can try.

This is happening a lot to e. Getting really frustrated. I’m losing lots of games unnecessarily. Not happy.

There are lots of glitches on this site these days

If you're on the iOS app, there's a bug impacting two ovn the versions that can cause that on some games.

Staff are aware and version 4.7.17 of the app with a fix is in the process of rolling out.
