Question for FIDE Titleholders

The rating regulations can be found on the FIDE site. I would think there would need to be some minimum number of games before that regulation took effect, but would have to read up on it.

It looks like it is your federation's responsibility: see 1.53a. If your flag here is right then that would be US Chess.

For title norms it is probably best, not sure for just an interim rating. Has the event been received by FIDE yet? That would have to be the first step. Then you could contact US Chess and see about starting the process and paying the title fee.

It may not be a requirement for either but probably makes things easier. Has the event been rated by FIDE? You won't be able to do anything until then.
