10+0 is not a good time control.
If the purpose of rapid is to allow you time to think about your moves, having zero increment means that dead drawn endgames turn into silly flagging contests.
I play it online at times because it's easy to find a quick game in one of the arenas, although arenas don't throw up enough even pairings, and also you know the game will be finished in 20 minutes so if that's all the time you have, it's good. It's not that good for the chess content though.
If your opponent stalls, take the time to think, instead of just raging
Exactly, he is litteraly helping you, i manage to calculate way better cuz i dont need to use my time to calculate

We were remarking about how hard it is to find the menu to create a game with a 10+5 time control.
And because it's hard to work out how to create one, when you do, it takes far longer to get a match because you're waiting for someone else to find it.
That a lot more people play 10+0 to 10+5 is probably partly for that reason, and also because your arenas are all 10+0 and not 10+5 and so a lot of people are playing in them.
That is a shame as I far prefer 10+5, and it's what we are playing in the ECF run online rapid this weekend (on a different chess-playing site).
