recording move-by-move notes on game in progress

I'm trying to come up with a good way to record my thoughts as I make each move in Daily/correspondence games to make post-game analysis relatively quick & easy. Does anyone know a straightforward way to do this?

I've recorded moves in a physical notebook before, but that's limited and requires typing it all again later.

The little in-game notepad seems pretty limited in scope, although that may just be me not getting it.

Since these time controls mean waiting until the end of the game could mean remembering what I was thinking weeks after I made the move, I'm hoping someone more clever than me has a good idea.

i aim to print ANALYSIS+NOTATION SHEET for myself . the idea is that it will contain 4 columns . 2 for analysis and 2 for moves .

                                   analysis         white             black                analysis

                            |                         |                      |                     |                            |

                            |                         |                      |                     |                            |

thats what i have  come up with to help myself in correspondence chess

i will write the move and my thoughts at that in respective columns so the next day or few days latter i may know what i was thinking and why i made the move .

I should add that it would be nice to end up with a PGN that I can share with my coach and/or post in a blog.

web14, do you have an example of what your sheet may look like after your notes are added?

web14

not right now as i have not printed the sheet yet . infact i am working on it right now .

You can copy the PGN of any game you view on chess.com. As far as the analysis goes, I keep a notepad. It's old fashioned and tedious, but it works. Of course, I don't use a coach presently, so I have no need to type it up after writing it down.
