Agreed. I never want to play two chess games in a day let alone in a row. I prefer learning over playing.
Rematch Obsession!

Even though I don't mind playing more games in a day,I decline rematches mostly of players who play crappy openings,try and win on time,exchange at every possibie chance,etc..I like to think of each game as a learning experience and playing these kinda players doese't help much!
People that insult you are simply sore losers. I actually like when they insult, because it shows how butthurt they are.
I can accept rematches depending on how the first game was. If we are more or less in the same level, then I can accept it. If there is a huge difference of levels, I do not see the point.
Generally I offer rematches if the first one was a very good game, or if I am angry because my opponent won on time a game that I was absolutely dominating.

I totally agree with you on this!I follow the same principles as you do concerning rematches!
I'll give my opponent a chance to win, then maybe go 2 out of 3 etc. Isn't chess supposed to be fun? After all, it's a "game" right!?

It is indeed fun but it isnt cumpulsory for your opponent to accept your rematch req too,right?You should just shut up and play a new opponent if your previous opponent declines your rematch req instead of calling him a coward or saying things such as,No rematch=bad behaviour,Who cares?

Unless there is a good reason (rudenesss, need break, done playing, etc)..
IMO after beating your opponent, accepting a rematch is good sportsmanship
I understand. You are right there. So far I have encountered only really nice people (Males I think) around 8 of em.

Why are some people so obssessed with rematches?They start innsulting you and calling you names just because you declined their rematch!Funny,cuz i seriously don't care about some people's ideals concerning rematch and wanting revenge!I'll accept rematch of those who I want to play against a second time and decline those who I don't!Provoking me ain't gonna help much!
