Yes, this again. The fact that so many players bring it up should indicate how common it is. Maybe if chess.com would do something about it, it would cease to be an issue.

I just imagine the type of person who would make a topic like this is...
... the kind of person who would trash talk and generally be intolerable during the game. Then they wonder why people decline rematches and don't want anything to do with them.

Wow! Are you serious?! I didn’t know there were so few accepting rematches here on chess.com. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of such nonsense. It’s an outrage and offense to all things holy, righteous, and good about this game of chess. You should write to the Grand Supreme Ruler of Inter-Galactic Chess Federations (GSR/IGCF) to formally register a 1547-B (1) grievance. Immediately.
